-Progressive metal band from the deepest side of Europe-
Yasna is an Italian progressive metal band formed in 2017 by guitarist Andrea Magrofuoco.
The singer Davide De Stefano and the drummer Simone Bombaci joined the band for first.
Starting from the original concept by Andrea Magrofuoco, the band evolved and defined itself in terms of sound throughout the years, with gitarsist Alfredo Cavalieri and bassist Armando Fiorello joining the band.
This long journey produced the first record of the band, called "Twilight Of Idols", coming out in 2021.
Recorded at LM Studio by Alessio "Lex" Mauro, the album will be mixed and mastered by Christian Ice.
During summer 2020, the band launched a crowdfunding campaign, following the release of the album's first single "Humankind's Prerogative".
Twilight of Idols is a complex record, describing the path, the thoughts and anxieties of the Man who is going to become the OverMan, the Übermensch Zarathustra described by the philosopher F.Nietzsche.
The path goes from relying on a superior figure, creator and eternal, passing through the acceptance of a circular reality. This endless repetition leads to a consequent void, the turmoils of a howling mind with its the inner battles, refusing all the Idols, with the awareness to be unique and indipendents.
