Vestigium is a german musician and composer. He started writing and arranging songs in the early 1990s. Since the mid-nineties he is composing under the name of "Vestigium". This word of latin origin means "trace" or "footstep". Vestigium says: "I chose this name in a metaphorical sense: I leave my small musical footprint in this huge world of music".
The first Vestigium-compositions are inspired by the Dancefloor and Eurodance-acts of the 1990s. The tracks of this time are released on the album "Biennium 1998-1999". All songs are played and recorded on the legendary keyboard Technics KN-3000.
Over the years Vestigium has been inspired by film and epic music. This means that he cannot be assigned to any particular style. But Vestigium-compositions have something in common: they contain some mystery touched with fantasy.
