1999
Born under the sun of Hyères-Les-Palmiers, Tom Ibarra inherited his passion for guitar from his grandfather. Which amongst many other skills, taught him how to play blues and jazz. He began composing when he was 11 years old.
2013 & 2014
1st prize Young Talents SACEM - Jazz Festival Musette des Puces de Saint-Ouen. 2015
Didier Lockwood, Sylvain Luc, Lionel Suarez and Lemmy Constantine invite Tom to share the stage during the closing performance of the Jazz Musette festival at Puces de Saint-Ouen.

With a bachelor’s degree in his pocket, Tom joined the CMDL (Music Center Didier Lokwood).

Creation and representation of JazzIndia including 4 musical pieces mixing jazz and traditional Indian râga for the Detours de Babel (Grenoble).

Release of Tom’s 2nd album SPARKLING with the total support of SACEM from the jury.
SPARKLING is one of the Jazz Magazine’s revelation of the month of March 2018, and leads Tom to TSF Jazz Radio, Europe 1, France Musique, FIP, France 3, France 24 ...
1st European tour of 30 dates, among which Cheltenham UK, Leopolis Lviv Ukraine, Kongsberg Norway, Umbria Italy, JazzOpen Stuttgart, Nice Jazz Festival, Jazzaldia San-Sebastian ...
He met again Marcus Miller and his band for whom he made the 1 st part at JazzOpen in Stuttgart and, who invited him on stage again, as well as to Lviv in Ukraine.
2019
The SPARKLING tour continues until June in France, but also abroad as at the Klaipeda Jazz festival in Lithuania in the first part of Earth Wind and Fire, Duketown in Holland or Baku in Azerbaijan. In February, a tribute to Didier Lockwood has been presented to Ambarès, the guitarist Jean-Marie Ecay was the main guest. A duo all in sensitivity is born with Lilian Mille, played in particular at the first part of Jamie Cullum at ArchéoJazz.
In July, Tom’s 3rd project was set up, residency, recording, start of tour at the JZ Shanghai festival in China where Tom took part in an interview alongside Marcus Miller, and the group was also the 1st part of Lisa Simone at Mo’Jazz in Cayenne.
2020
Tom and his musicians just had time to present on stage the 3rd album in London and at Rocher de Palmer in Bordeaux, before all dates were cancelled due to covid-19...
Tom and his fellow musicians took the opportunity to refine the post production of the 3rd album whose release is postponed to 2021...
