Musicalement Vôtre. Music For Ever
Quentin PEREIRA has always wanted to compose music like a childhood dream, thinking that it was not possible.
He discovered the video game "Music Creation for PlayStation" in the early 2000s and was offered software suites such as eJay on PC.
A crisis of creativity and inspiration quickly made itself felt: this was surely due to a lack of musical culture, at the time, and the use of overly simplistic tools.
Then came the arrival of high-speed Internet, Quentin was able to share his compositions on his website and on forums dedicated to Computer Aided Music: This is the birth of the nickname DJ YAK'Ô.
Following the reception of criticisms and very enriching discussions with the various members, his style was able to be refined over time.
Events, more or less happy, in his personal life forced him to be able to express his inner emotions. This, linked to the use of more professional tools, leads him to want to work more in depth on the sound and structure of his pieces.
The discovery of independent artists, classic groups of electronic music, such as the German group Kraftwerk, to name only him, or the music of video games, opened the way to creativity for him. His family encouraging him to continue on this path.
Until now, he was content to publish this music only on his website but today, he wants to introduce his work to a growing number of people.
He currently works alone because it is for him to be able to “make his emotions speak”.
